Google rewarded entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic with a prize that honours the traditional Czech glassmaking tradition. The Crystal Pin statuette was designed by designer František Jungvirt from KLIMCHI studio. The prizes were hand-shaped by glassmakers at the family-run glass factory in Kamenický Šenov in the area of the so-called Crystal Valley.

'The very material from which the price is made represents the fragility of the relationship between entrepreneurs and their customers. The soda bubbles, which have created a unique pattern inside each pin, in turn represent the thousands of locations found on Google Maps. The prize serves as a mirror object reflecting a place that has achieved success according to customer reviews' explains František Jungvirt, Creative Director of KLIMCHI.
