When Tradition Meets the Digital Era: KLIMCHI Designs Trophies for the Czech Social Awards

The world of social media changes at breakneck speed. It is a realm ruled by fleeting trends, relentless algorithms, and, increasingly, artificial intelligence. Yet at KLIMCHI, we firmly believe that the things of greatest value still require a human touch, patience, and time. That is why we are immensely proud to announce that pieces from the family glassworks will this year find their way into the hands of the most prominent personalities of the Czech internet. We have become the official design partner for the 12th annual Czech Social Awards.

A Story Captured in Glass

How do you capture the fleeting, dynamic energy of online communication and give it a permanent, tangible form? This was the central question driving our design team.

The result is a collection of glass awards that organically bridge these two worlds. Our master glassmakers hand-blew and shaped each piece within our family glassworks. The trophies then underwent precise sandblasting and text engraving. Every single trophy carries within it the speed and mutability of the digital space, while simultaneously bearing the weight of honest human labour and centuries-old craftsmanship.

New Challenges and the Power of Communities

This year’s Czech Social Awards reflect the defining shifts of our time. Among the new developments are categories focused on the creative application of AI in digital content, alongside a "Sport & Community" category, which highlights projects that bring people together in real life. Furthermore, strong partnerships within the commercial categories will demonstrate the profound influence that modern creators wield over society as a whole.

The final selection will be decided by an expert jury comprising leading figures from Czech marketing, media, and academia.
