She grew up in Italy and originally studied theatre set design, but gradually found herself drawn to craftsmanship — especially glass, which she fell in love with for its endless creative possibilities.

The Ethel collection stems from her deep respect for tradition, which she sees as a solid foundation for modern design. The shape of the jug was inspired by a classic milk container from the English countryside. She reimagined its simple, timeless form with a fresh, original touch.
